Miraj Hotel
Miraj Hotel is one of the newly built four-star hotels in Karbala. It was inaugurated in Shahrivar 1403 in the Iranian calendar (August–September 2024), coinciding with Arbaeen. Its location, approximately 100 meters from Bab Baghdad Street and within convenient reach of the shrine of Hazrat Abbas (peace be upon him), makes it a suitable accommodation option. Its proximity to the shrine of Hazrat Abbas is comparable to that of Naeem Al-Warith Hotel in relation to the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
Miraj Hotel is built across nine floors with classical architecture and offers good-quality accommodation. Although it does not currently have a Husseiniya, guests can enjoy an unforgettable view of the shrine of Qamar Bani Hashim (peace be upon him) from the restaurant. Most rooms receive direct natural light from the street, and some also offer views of the shrine of Hazrat Abbas (peace be upon him), making it difficult to leave the window. The hotel has a capacity of 100 beds. All rooms are equipped with amenities such as a television, tea-making facilities, a Western-style toilet, a hygiene kit, and towels. Another distinctive feature is the inclusion of a foldable ironing board and an iron, facilities found in relatively few hotels in Iraq. Located on the ninth floor, the hotel restaurant serves guests on an open-buffet basis.
